Fri Apr 30 1999 Canvas items can be written in TOM, as subclasses of TOMCanvasItem. This has the same restrictions as TOMWidgets. (older) Widgets can be written in TOM, as subclasses of TOMWidget. Since a subclass in TOM of TOMWidget does not induce a subclass in the Gtk object system, a TOM widget can not add signals. I have yet to think about adding object arguments.
